A 180-guest wedding with staff, band and suppliers can reach 200. Big festivals and ticketed events can reach 800.
A wedding or event venue is in the standard tier if it is reasonable to expect 200 to 799 people at once, counting guests, staff, caterers and performers. Separate ticketed events of 800+ with controlled entry are qualifying events with enhanced duties.

Neither the Home Office nor the SIA endorses any provider, including us.
